ΣΤΗΡΙΞΗ ΣΑΡΑΝΤΟΠΟΥΛΟΥ ΣΤΟΥΣ ΝΕΟΥΣ ΔΗΜΟΣΙΟΓΡΑΦΟΥΣ ΚΑΙ ΤΑ ΟΜΟΓΕΝΕΙΑΚΑ ΜΜΕ

Τον ιδιαίτερο ρόλο που διαδραματίζουν τα ΜΜΕ στις σύγχρονες δημοκρατίες και την σημασία που αποκτά στην αποστολή τους η άρτια κατάρτιση των νέων δημοσιογράφων, μέσα από μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα συνεργασίας χωρών, όπως  είναι το Πρόγραμμα Ποιοτικής Δημοσιογραφίας και Νέων Τεχνολογιών  QJNT, που αποτελεί Συνέργεια των φορέων : Ίδρυμα Προαγωγής Δημοσιογραφίας Α.Β.Μπότση,   το  D.U.K. Δημόσιο Πανεπιστήμιο Κρέμς της....

 Αυστρίας, το Ερευνητικό Κέντρο Αθηνά του Υπουργείου Παιδείας και το Εθνικό Μετσόβιο Πολυτεχνείο, επεσήμανε η Γραμματέας του Παγκοσμίου Συμβουλίου Απόδημου Ελληνισμού, Δρ. Όλγα Σαραντοπούλου μιλώντας στην τελετή αποφοίτησης του QJNT3.

Η κυρία Σαραντοπούλου, κεντρική ομιλήτρια της εκδήλωσης, την οποία τίμησαν με την παρουσία τους  ο Γ.Γ. Μέσων Ενημέρωσης κ. Ιωάννης Παναγιωτόπουλος, ο  Γ.Γ. του Ιδρύματος Προαγωγής Δημοσιογραφίας A.B.Μπότση κ.Δημ.Παναγιωτόπουλος, ο Διευθυντής  της Συνέργειας κ. Μάριος Νώττας, καθηγητές, εκπρόσωποι των ΜΜΕ, του επιχειρηματικού και του καλλιτεχνικού κόσμου, εξήρε τον σημαντικό ρόλο των Oμογενειακών Μέσων Μαζικής Ενημέρωσης και ζήτησε την στήριξή τους από την Πολιτεία.

Όπως επεσήμανε η Γραμματέας του Συμβουλίου Απόδημου Ελληνισμού, το μεταπτυχιακό πρόγραμμα που αφορά στη συνέργεια τόσων δημόσιων φορέων, Αυστρίας κι Ελλάδας, έχει δώσει καρπούς σημαντικούς. Αποτελεί δε «εγγύηση και ελπίδα για το μέλλον της δημοσιογραφίας».

Η Παγκόσμια Γραμματέας ΣΑΕ υπογράμμισε πως σε μία εποχή οπου η εικόνα της Ελλάδας βάλλεται από παντού, που υφίσταται σοβαρό επικοινωνιακό πρόβλημα μεταξύ των κοινωνιών της Ελλάδας και εκείνων της Κεντρικής Ευρώπης, τέτοιου είδους προγράμματα ποιοτικής Δημοσιογραφίας έχουν τόσο άμεσο, όσο και μακροπρόθεσμο θετικό αποτέλεσμα.

Η κα Σαραντοπούλου αναφέρόμενη στην διαχρονικἠ προσφορά του Ελληνισμού του Εξωτερικού,  επεσήμανε ότι ο Απόδημος Ελληνισμός θα είναι και στο μέλλον  στο πλευρό της Πατρίδος  προσβλέποντας να υπάρξει μία αμφίδρομη σχέση αλληλοϋποστήριξης και αλληλοσεβασμού. “Η Ελλάδα, πρόσθεσε,  αξίζει ένα καλύτερο μέλλον. Και σ αυτό,  οφείλουμε όλοι μαζί να συνεχίσουμε να συνδράμουμε, τα ΜΜΕ εκτός και εντός Ελλάδος, οι οργανώσεις μας ανά τον κόσμο, η Ελληνική πολιτεία, η Εκκλησία μας”.

Καταλήγοντας  η Δρ. Όλγα Σαραντοπούλου απέπεμψε «ένα μεγάλο ευχαριστώ στα Ομογενειακά Μέσα Ενημέρωσης που πολλές φορές κάτω από αντίξοες συνθήκες, πολλά από αυτά αφιλοκερδώς και με μόνο γνώμονα την αγάπη για την Πατρίδα, κράτησαν ζωντανή την επαφή Ομογένειας με την Ελλάδα- αλλά και για την αντοχή και το κουράγιο που έδειξαν καθώς είναι εκείνα που δέχτηκαν το μεγαλύτερο βάρος του αρνητικού κλίματος στα ξένα ΜΜΕ εναντίον της Ελλάδας».

DR.SARANTOPOULOS : SUPPORT TO YOUNG JOURNALISTS AND DIASPORA MEDIA

Dr.Olga Sarantopoulos, Secretary of the World Council of Hellenes Abroad, speaking at the graduation ceremony of the Program for Quality Journalism and New Technologies QJNT3,  underlined the special role of the media in modern democracies and the importance that acquires for their future mission,  the optimal training of young journalists, through graduate cooperation programs  between countries such as the Program QJNT. The Program is a Synergy of the bodies: the Institution for the Promotion of Journalism A.B.Botsi, the D.U.K. Danube University Krems-Austria , the Athena Research Center of the Greek Ministry of Education and the Metsovion National Technical University of Athens.

Dr.Sarantopoulos , keynote speaker of the event , which was attended by the Secretary-General of Mass Media Mr.Ioannis Panagiotopoulos , the Secretary- General of the Institution for the Promotion of Journalism A.B.Botsis, Mr.Dimitris Panagiotopoulos , the Director of the Synergy Program Mr.Marios Nottas , professors , representatives of the media, the business and the art world , praised the important role of Diaspora Media and requested their support from the state.

As pointed out by the Secretary of the World Council of Hellenes , “the graduate program on the synergy of so many public bodies from Austria and Greece , has given considerable fruit .Most of all it is the guarantee and hope for the future of journalism . "

The SAE World Secretary stressed that at a time when the image of Greece is attacked by everywhere , and that there is a serious communication problem between the societies of Greece and those in Central Europe , such programs of quality journalism have immediate , and long-term positive results.

Dr. Sarantopoulos reported the timeless offer of Hellenes Abroad , pointed out that the Greek Diaspora will be also in the future alongside the Motherland aspiring  a two-way relationship of mutual support and mutual respect. “Greece , she added, deserves a better future . And in this , it is our duty to continue all together to assist , our media inside and outside Greece , our organizations around the world , the Greek state , our Church ."

In conclusion, Dr . Olga Sarantopoulos expressed her gratitude to expatriate media often operating under difficult circumstances , many of them selflessly and with reference only to their love for the Motherland , kept alive the Diaspora contact with Greece - but also for the strength and courage as is shown by those who received the brunt of the negative climate in the foreign media against Greece . "
